Director of Demand Generation

What we're looking for

Doodle is seeking a self-driven Director of Demand Generation, a new position at Doodle, to devise, implement and optimise our programs that lead enterprise prospects through the marketing and sales funnel. The Director will work closely with the sales and marketing teams to create highly targeted account-focused campaigns and measure their effectiveness in driving pipeline.  As this is a new role, you are tasked with devising the sales funnel and implementing a measurement strategy to ensure that campaigns are targeting leads that convert profitably.  

Reporting to the Chief Marketing Officer, the right candidate will be motivated by the opportunity to build out the demand generation machine for a fast-growing SaaS company in the up-and-coming scheduling space.  We expect the right candidate will have experience selecting and building a tech stack to support ABM and other demand generation strategies. Additionally, we’re looking for someone who has worked in an early-stage environment and has built a program to scale. 

What this role involves

  • Work closely with sales to develop Account Based Marketing strategy to prioritise top enterprise prospects, then build out customised campaigns to move prospects toward purchase
  • In coordination with content marketing team, develop materials needed to educate and inform prospects about product’s key value propositions.
  • Lead paid marketing efforts to target enterprise prospects, primarily across digital channels including LinkedIn, Facebook, Capterra and others
  • Develop forecasts MQLs and pipeline generated, as well as managing metrics for the demand generation and sales funnel
  • Work closely with sales to create lead scoring strategy and implement lead scoring in conjunction with demand generation efforts
  • Recommend tech stack for demand generation, and determine how additional technology will drive pipeline


  • 4-6 years of experience in a startup environment leading demand gen efforts in B2B enterprise technology 
  • Success in scaling ABM programs, preferably with experience building from scratch
  • Demonstrated success working across teams, including marketing, sales, strategic development reps, and product marketing
  • Experience with Salesforce, Intercom and Hubspot a plus
